Rhubarb ‘Victoria’-25 Seeds-Fruit & Vegetables-Base Chakra
Sowing time: Autumn & Spring (Best in cooler climates).
Sowing: 15-20 mm deep, 90cm apart.
Sprouting: 5-10 days.
Harvest: 120-140 days.
Produces long greenish stems with a red base which can be used for pies and sauces. Plant in an area where it will be undisturbed. Rhubarb grown from seed usually needs a year of growth before a heavy crop is produced. CAUTION: The leaves are very high in oxalic acid and are not edible.
