Evergreen, productive and vigorous vine spreading to 3m. Originating from South America, this is a great tasting, large-fruited passionfruit with red skin that are much larger than the regular, purple-skinned passionfruit varieties.
Purple-red, sweet tasting fruits follow the white flowers with purple corona. Pruning is not necessary for producing the fruit but the vine may be thinned out in early spring to remove excessive growth. Very easy to grow.
Grow in an upright position near a trellis or stake. Can also be grown in a container or pot.
Please note: This item is seeds only, NOT live plants! Quarantine restrictions prohibit us selling or shipping this item to WA, Norfolk Island, Tasmania, or Internationally.
Do not be too hasty to discard seed that does not germinate, seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural requirements for germination to occur. Containers put to one side will often surprise long after they were discarded.
