Sowing time: All year in warm areas; Spring-Autumn in cooler temps.

Position:  Sunny.

Sowing: 12mm deep; 15cm apart.

Sprouting: 21-28 days.

Harvest: As needed.

Chakra: Heart.

With slender stems and dark flat leaves, a bright and slightly bitter flavour, the stems have more flavour and aroma than the leaves.  This broad-leaved parsley is often confused with Coriander, which has more delicate leaves and a totally different flavour than the parsley, and the parsley leaves are darker and shinier.  Parsley stems are often used for flavouring stocks, soups and sauces as this has a stronger flavour than traditional curly parsley which is more for use as a garnish.
