A relative of the hibiscus, this particular variety of Okra has green fruits and stems. The fruits give extra flavor to soups, stews, sauces and curries.
Sowing time: Spring and Summer
Position: Prefers sunny position.
Sowing: 5mm deep. Spaced 50cm apart.
Sprouting: Emerge 10-14 days.
Harvest: When pods are young, approx 5 days after flowers have opened.
