Ideal sowing temp: 18-25C 

Position:  Light Shade to Full Sun. 

Preparation: Sm0ke treatment may assist growth. 

Sowing: Sow on surface.  Cover very lightly with soil. 

Care:  Keep moist but not wet with fine mist spray. 

Sprouting: 6-25 days. 

Seed remains viable for several years stored at room temperature.

Great for use as a fast-growing shrubby hedge, with creamy white flowers similar to Callistemons.  Can grow to 8m tall and 2m wide.  Frost and drought tolerant once established and does prefer swampy, damp soil in full sun or semi-shaded spots.  Flowering in Spring and Summer, it will self-seed and will spread if permitted.
