Sowing: 5mm deep, direct in final position.

Chakra: Sacral. 

Brassica rapa.

Hardy and easy to grow upright annual. Tall, with rounded green leaves and a thick, juicy stem, it has a mild mustard/cabbage flavour. May be steamed or boiled or cooked in stir fry dishes or added to soups.  May also be used fresh as a salad green.

General note: 
Do not be too hasty to discard seed that does not germinate, seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural requirements for germination to occur. Containers put to one side will often surprise long after they were discarded.
