One of the more popular eggplant varieties due to it’s heavy cropping of dark, purplish, pear-shaped fruits with good texture and great flavour.

Sowing time: Spring to Autumn in hot areas.

                     Spring to Summer in cooler zones.

Climate: Soil temperature must be 25-30C

Position: Prefers sunny position.

Sowing: 5mm deep directly in final position.

Sprouting: emerges 10-14 days.

Harvest: 12-16 weeks after sowing.
