Borago officinalis

Tall annual to 90cm. The flowers are good bee forage and it is a great companion to strawberries.  Said to concentrate potassium in the body; to possess calmative properties and to ‘gladden the heart’, it produces bright, blue, star-shaped flowers which can be used as garnishes and with the leaves in salads to brighten any dish.
