Parsnip ‘Hollow Crown' 

100     seeds

Sowing time:  Autumn to Spring in warm areas, Spring to Autumn in cool to temperate areas.

Position:  Prefer sunny position.

Sowing:  5mm deep

Sprouting:  emerge 21-28 days

Harvest:  approx 18 weeks after sowing

Chakra:  Solar Plexus 

An old favourite to experienced growers, ‘Hollow Crown’ is a recommended variety for first time parsnip growers.  Tender, with a fine flavour, long roots which are white and uniform, and a pointed root, this has been an Australian favourite parsnip for over one hundred years.


Please note: This item is seeds only, NOT live plants! Quarantine restrictions prohibit us selling or shipping this item to WA, Norfolk Island, Tasmania, or Internationally.


General note: 
Do not be too hasty to discard seed that does not germinate, seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural requirements for germination to occur. Containers put to one side will often surprise long after they were discarded.
