Position: Prefers sunny position; keep moist!

Sowing: Sow on surface as they need light to germinate.

Sprouting: Emerge 10-30 days.

Harvest: Flowering at about 40cm growth.

Chamomile is an aromatic plant which is used for its calming. and healing properties. Also known as ‘True Chamomile’, this annual has healing, blue oil and the dried flowers can be used for conditioning fair hair, and as a tea substitute. The leaves and flowers can be applied to wounds to help heal. Known as the plant's physician, a Tea made from the leaves may be used for "damping off" disease in plants.

General note: 
Do not be too hasty to discard seed that does not germinate, seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural requirements for germination to occur. Containers put to one side will often surprise long after they were discarded.
