Sowing temp: 18-22C
Position: Light Shade to Full Sun; Well Drained.
Preparation: Place seeds in a container and cover with just-boiled water. Allow to soak overnight. Sow swollen seeds and re-treat any seeds that have not swollen.
Sowing: 3mm deep.
Care: Keep moist but not wet.
Sprouting: 10-21 days.
Found naturally in a small area of NSW, mainly around Cootamundra, Temora, Stockingbal district. Small to Medium tree to 10m high with silver-grey foliage and bright yellow flowers that grow in the leaf axils during late winter to spring. Not recommended for some areas, as it can become a weed, check with your local council before planting. Drought tolerant and frost resistant, very fast growing but relatively short-lived.
