Sowing temp: 18-22C

Position:  Full Sun. 

Preparation: Bog method:  Place pot in bed of water to sow. 

Sowing: 1mm deep.  Cover very lightly with soil. 

Care:  Keep very wet. 

Sprouting: 10-60 days. 

Perennial to 2m, grows in water and mud.  Tussock-forming trait makes it a great plant in shallow water creeks and lagoons, and along fresh-water dams, rivers, and drains up to a depth of 25-50cm.  Great for holding banks together. Frost tolerant.  Flowers Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Used therapeutically in Africa in a range of applications.
