Ideal sowing temp: 18-22C.
Position: Open & sunny once matured.
Sowing: Sow on surface and gently press down. Warm, shaded or semi-shaded position while sprouting.
Care: Water with fine mist spray to avoid disturbance of the seed.
Sprouting: 14-28 days.
Also known as “Coast Tussock Grass”
A densely tufted, erect perennial to 1m. Native to southern and eastern areas of Australia including Vic, Tas, South Australia, Western Australia, and along the NSW coastline south of Port Stephens. Often found along coastal foreshores and estuaries, sand dunes, and cliffs (often preferring south-facing cliffs).
Very hardy, drought tolerant and suitable for most climates and soils (from sand to heavy clays).
