Cabbage ‘Chinese Michihili’ (Wombok)

Sowing time: year-round in hot and tropical areas, mid-winter to mid-autumn in moderate zones, Spring to Autumn in cooler areas.
Climate: Temperate.
Position: To form tighter heads, tie the outer leaves together around the plant loosely.
Sowing: 6mm deep directly in final position, spaced 30-40cm apart
Sprouting: emerge 6-10 days
Harvest: 8-10 wks after sowing
Chakra: Heart
Fast growing, full-flavoured, and great for salads and stir fry’s. This variety has looser heads with thinner stems.

Do not be too hasty to discard seed that does not germinate, seeds will often lay dormant until the conditions are similar to their natural requirements for germination to occur. Containers put to one side will often surprise long after they were discarded.
