Thorny, lowland shrub or tree to 7m. Native to rainforests of northern NSW and SE QLD. Easy to care for and drought hardy once established. Once grown, plants like a position in full sun to part shade with adequate moisture and regular fertiliser, just like normal Citrus. Keep them pruned to a manageable size.
Prized for their unusual looking finger shaped fruit which contain tiny juicy, pearls, they are becoming very popular throughout Australia for their flavoursome taste and range of varieties.
